Since the 1980s, with the precision of an entomologist assembling a collection of study objects, Yves Trémorin has developed a rigorous body of work in his procedures and processes,

using the photographic medium in its own specificity, isolating his subjects in a fragmentary manner. Staged in a parameterized setup, stripped of any contextual, spatial, or temporal clues, freed from any anecdote, they become, in his images of extreme simplicity, emblems, mythological figures, or symbolic objects. He regularly exhibits in France and abroad.
