INCUBES & SUCCUBES
Author: Marc Couturier
Publisher: Éditions Marval / Rue Visconti
The book was born from works called "elaborate straightenings" made up of scraps of glue arranged on printed cards that form a phantasmagoria of animal and anthropomorphic entities in a lunar atmosphere. It is not selenites that appear to us but incubi and succubi... The works in this series are reproduced here on a 1:1 scale.
The author Yasmina Traboulsi was kind enough to "dream" about these images and gave us her impressions in the form of stanzas that punctuate the work.
For the deluxe edition of this publication, in addition to the standard copies, 15 numbered and signed copies by Marc Couturier were reserved, bound under a white cover that he enhanced with a silverpoint drawing.
